Privacy Notice

Last updated: 22 October 2026

T.W Residence ("we", "us") runs a shortlet apartment business in Olaleye Estate, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria. This notice explains what information we collect through twresidence.org and why. For questions, email twresidence.lagos@gmail.com.

Information you give us

When you make a booking request we collect what you enter in the form: your name, phone number, email address (if given), the names of the guests staying, the apartment and dates, your reason for travel, how you heard about us, any notes, and optional refund bank details if you choose to provide them. If you book for someone else, we also collect that person's name and phone number, so please make sure they know.

Payments

Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not see or store your card number or card details. Paystack gives us a record of the payment, including the amount, reference and the booking details attached to it.

How we use it

Where your information is stored

Booking details you submit are sent to services we use to receive and store them: a Google Sheet, Web3Forms and Formspree (form services), and our email. Availability is managed with Google Calendar. These providers may process data outside Nigeria.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site, where they come from and which buttons are used, for example the WhatsApp and booking buttons. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies and receives technical information such as your device, browser and approximate location. We do not send your name, phone number, email or payment details to Google Analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings or use Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers named above and where the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as needed to run the booking, handle any issues after your stay, keep accounts and meet legal duties, and then delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

Under Nigerian data protection law, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. You can also object to certain uses and complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Email us to make a request.

Changes

We may update this notice and will change the date above when we do.
